A Big Day For Clara

Yesterday was a big day for Clarabelle. First, she had the last day of her cheer camp. She had SUCH a good time and has found a new passion in her life! She jumped and shouted and tumbled all week long and on the last day that got to give the parents a quick little show of some of their new stuff. So here she is in action!
Our little cheerleader girl!

Strutting her stuff!

Great feats and tricks!

After Cheerleading, we came home, had lunch, and then Clara's little friend Sophia came over to play for a bit. Then we took her home and headed off to see Dr. Vincent and REMOVE the cast! Hooray! After much waiting it was FINALLY Clara's turn and it was so much fun to watch her expressions and see the cast fall away from her pretty little arm. Here's the story in pictures!

Ummmm...not too sure about this saw thing!

Hey! That's not so bad! Weird...but not bad!

Popping it open!

Cutting through the final layer!

Free at last!

It's nice to have her little wrist free and clear again. It's fairly stiff and sore. And her skin was pretty irritated in there around her wrist bones. But we got her all cleaned up and lotioned up last night and she feels much better this morning! And now she is all ready to play on the beach and we don't have to worry about filling up that cast with sand!
